Steven Blostein will be offering a series of six tai chi classes beginning Sunday, October 6. Each class is from 10am to 11am in the Grove. Steve’s classes stress the health benefits of tai chi such as improved balance, better posture, and increased flexibility. You can expect to leave the class energized but relaxed.
The fee for the entire series is $75.
Steve has been teaching tai chi for TCU Extended Education since 2008.
Steve’s classes stress the health benefits of tai chi. Steve teaches a traditional tai chi class with an emphasis on the essential principals. Some of the major benefits of tai chi are:
- Improved cardio-vascular fitness
- Greater muscular strength, particularly of the lower body
- Improved flexibility
- Improved posture
- Improved concentration and reduced stress
- Improved balance to prevent falls
